“More Quilts and A Lot of Helpful Hints”

Ring in NMQA's Golden Anniversary year with a lecture from Barbara Gary, certified Quiltworx instructor and NMQA Past President in 2003. Having made over 100 Quiltworx patterns, Barbara will share several of these finished quilts, as well as other quilts that she has completed. Along her teaching path, she has found techniques and methods that make quilting more fun and efficient.

In 2011, Judy Niemeyer was a featured teacher and quilt artist for NMQA. That was Barbara’s introduction to the Quiltworx Pattern Company;  she applied for a spot in the newly established Quiltworx certification curriculum and successfully completed the three-year program, receiving her certification in 2014. She continues to teach and share her knowledge. Along the pathway, she has learned many tricks and concepts, many from her students.  

We'll also have Show & Tell at the meeting! Bring a quilt you've recently made, or perhaps one that is 50 years old!  If you're attending in person, bring your item with you and if you're attending through zoom, send your photos to Kris Lange, klange@email.com at least 48 hours before the meeting.
