“Painted Mountains” ( ~72” x 76.5”) is a wonderful patchwork exploration using proportionately-sized equilateral triangles.  There are no set-in seams in this visually interesting project, just lots of color play and a fun, unexpected strippy setting. Kelly will guide the participant through playing with triangles, offering loads of tips along the way! 

There is a mandatory kit (acrylic templates for cutting the patchwork for the blocks, Fabric Grips™, template plastic for setting pieces, and the pattern) – kit fee $25 payable right before class starts by cash or credit / debit card. Each participant must have their own kit.

I love making quilts!  Each step in the process – block design, fabric selection, piecing and/or appliquéing the blocks, exploring setting options, and planning and executing the quilting – provides me with creative nourishment for my soul.  I also love to share my quilts and my quilt making experiences with others through teaching classes / workshops, and through my quilt patterns.
