Have you tried making a potholder, mug rug, or placemat and found it frustrating when you try to sew the opening closed and it doesn’t turn out quite right? Join Debbie Rogulich at a potholder Zoom workshop and learn a quick and easy method that works every time.

Debbie has been a member of NMQA for 20+ years. She's been quilting for just as long, but started sewing when she was a little girl. And, she has have a drawer full of potholders!

Supplies:

  • 10” square of fabric for front of potholder. (You could also use a quilt block)
  • 10” square of batting (either cotton batting or Insulbrite thermal batting)
  • 10” X 11” piece of fabric for back of potholder

"I was the practice subject for Debbie’s workshop. This was a new way of finishing edges for me. I like it and have been using it because it is so much easier for me.  During the practice session, I made one potholder . . . and then made seven more!"
