History of Quilting
with Carolyn Mitchell
Carolyn Mitchell is a proud 20-year member of the Pecos Valley Quilters in Roswell New Mexico, where she first started quilting. Quilting is now her passion! Carolyn will give a presentation of the history of quilting and will be sharing her quilts.
Carolyn feels very fortunate to have been raised in Dallas, Texas by a mother who could sew beautifully, which gave Carolyn the opportunity at age 10 to start making her own clothes. She attended Texas Tech University, and then obtained a degree in home economics education from Utah State University.
